I Received 2 Checks From A Secret Shopper Company And Figure It Is A Scam. Am I Responsible To Send These Back Since I'm Not Going To Cash Them?

No need to return the checks or contact the scammer in any way. Please report this scam at ftc.gov/complaint.

Istarted getting calls from a he capital bank loan company informing me that I had been approved for $3,000 I told the guy calling no thank you well this guy called liked every 5 minutes getting frustrated Cruz I was waiting to have surgery this day I told him to take me off call list I could not afford to take a loan well about 6 more calls later he was very upset yelling at me I told them to stop calling or I would contact a lawyer the next morning at 6:00 am I received yet another call same guy informing me there was a warrant out for my arrest and he was taking me to court immediately and the FBI was involved I have this on my voicemail to prove myself I being really confused and scared at this point contacted Ge capital bank to see what was going on they told me they did not know anything and very nicely gave me tips to your website to file a complaint I have this guys number and name he still calls me what do I do....

You can file a complaint about this caller at ftc.gov/complaint. The best way to get him to stop calling is to hang up the phone, and then don't answer or respond to his calls. You might want to find out from your phone company if you can block incoming calls from certain numbers.

I recently paid a credit card off and reapplied for a new one at their suggestion. I was declined stating it was due to a bankruptcy filed about 10 years ago that was discharged several years ago. Is this a legal policy and/or practice.
