But you can do something to reduce them.
Simply place your telephone number on the National Do Not Call Registry.
Registering your phone number is free, and there are two easy ways to sign up.
You can go online to Do-Not-Call-dot-gov.
Or you can call 1-888-382-1222. Be sure to call from the phone number that you want to register.
Your phone number will stay on the Do Not Call Registry forever – unless you ask for it to be removed.
