I spent four years as an attorney in the Bureau of Competition’s Health Care Division and it’s impossible to boil that experience down to a single moment. Instead, it is a series of moments that show the heart of the Commission. It’s those moments before your first investigational hearing. It’s those moments when a memo you write gets sent to the Commissioners. And it’s those moments when the Supreme Court rules on one of your cases. But most of all, it’s those moments late at night spent alongside great friends and colleagues working on something you believe in, something that will be a big help to someone you will never know and who will never know you. In those moments, you see what the Commission is and what it can do. Each of those moments was my FTC moment.
