Visit the FTC at NCLR in Missouri
If you’re in Kansas City, Missouri on July 11-14, come see the FTC at the annual National Council of La Raza conference. Bilingual staff will be at our booth to answer all of your questions about how to detect and avoid fraud. We also will be handing out free booklets, bookmarks, and articles that explain how to deal with debt, prevent identity theft, and avoid scams against immigrants. It’s all free to take and share with your family and friends, or at community events. At the FTC booth, you can:
- Be the first to receive a free hot-off-the-press copy of the FTC’s newest fotonovela to help Spanish-speakers avoid notario scams.
- Check out the Pass It On materials we designed to start older adults talking about scams.
- Learn how to help people in your community, using free resources – presentations, quizzes, worksheets, and more – available on Consumer.gov.
